For years, Brookfield had beautiful scenery but no walkable downtown. A new revitalization plan aims to change that.
In late June, ground was broken at an intersection called Four Corners, currently the site of four gas stations. What’s to come is a three-phase revitalization, beginning with a $6 million installation of pedestrian lighting, a bike path and sidewalks with benches and planters. A four-building complex of mixed-use retail and residential rentals called Brookfield Village is already underway, aimed at millennials and empty-nesters. The vision for the area is a quaint town center with shops, restaurants and gathering places.

Newbury Village HOA was turned over to home owners July 1, 2015. We have had a good relationship with the builder, but now the operation is run by the owners.
There is a monthly board meeting, typically in the morning the second Friday of the month. There are about 4 Town Home and, separately, 4 Coach Home Communications meetings during the year.
There are regular game nights each week and an active Social Committee.
A popular activity is simply walking in the community as a pleasant start or end to each day.

Construction has just begun on the third and final offering of Coach Homes, with homes being delivered early Fall 2014, and already there have are several agreements in place. “There has been a ton of interest in this last building as folks have wanted to grab the best locations before they are gone,” said Jay, “We encourage anyone who has been thinking of living at Newbury Village to act quickly if they want to lock in a great location and still have time to customize their home the way they want.” he said.
